Hello, Pinkfresh friends! It’s Celes here today, sharing my A Heart Full of Blooms Card, created with the beautiful Gather & Bloom release!
Who says Clean & Simple designs can't have layers, dimension, and beautiful details? For this card, I combined the delicate Petite Florals with a heart-shaped centerpiece and a soft, elegant background. Matte gold and pink hot foiling add just the right amount of subtle shine, while the dimensional floral arrangement brings the design to life. A lovely way to let every little detail shine without overwhelming the composition!

How to create this card
- Create a top-folding A2 card base from white cardstock.
- Prepare an A2-sized background panel using the Glimmer Hot Foil System, matte pink foil, and the Stitched Heart Lattice Press Plate.
- Trim the completed background panel to 4" wide x 5 1/4" tall.
- Die cut a large heart from white cardstock using the Essentials: Shaker Heart die set.
- Use the Petite Florals Press Plate with matte gold foil and the Glimmer Hot Foil System to create two sets of floral designs.
- Place the floral pieces on an Easy Blend Grip Mat and use the coordinating Petite Florals Layering Stencil Set to begin adding color to the flowers.
- Add color to the floral designs using the coordinating layering stencils and the following ink colors: Sparkling Rose, Raspberry Bliss, Soft Lilac, Candy Violet, Olive, Evergreen, and Eucalyptus. Feel free to use a different color combination with the inks you have available.
- Die cut the completed floral designs using the coordinating Petite Florals Die Set.
Use the Petite Florals Press Plate with matte gold foil and the Glimmer Hot Foil System to create the "Thinking of You" sentiment. - Adhere the background panel to the A2 card base using 2 mm foam tape.
- Center the white heart on the background panel and adhere it using 2 mm foam tape for added dimension.
- Begin arranging the floral layers over the heart. Adhere the two lilac flowers in the background directly to the heart using liquid glue.
- Add the remaining flowers in overlapping layers, using 1 mm foam tape to create subtle dimension. Arrange the pieces to maintain a balanced composition while allowing the flowers to extend beyond the edges of the heart.
- Position the "Thinking of You" sentiment over the floral arrangement and adhere it using foam tape for additional dimension.
- Finish the card with a few gold Metallic Pearls for a delicate touch of shine.
- Optionally, add Metallic Gold Drops to the centers of the main flowers for an extra decorative detail.

Tips & Tricks
Here are a few simple tips to help you achieve smooth ink blending, beautiful dimension, and a balanced Clean & Simple design.
- Ink Blending: Start with lighter ink colors and gradually add darker shades to create depth. Use gentle, circular motions for smooth transitions.
- Color Control: Blot excess ink from your blending brush before applying it through the stencil to avoid harsh edges and overly saturated areas.
- Floral Dimension: Combine flowers adhered flat with raised elements using foam tape to create depth without overwhelming the composition.
- Clean & Simple Balance: Keep the floral arrangement as the focal point, allowing the white heart and soft background to provide visual balance.
- Subtle Shine: Matte hot foil adds an elegant finish without overpowering the design. Use metallic embellishments sparingly to complement the foiled details.
